How does it work?
Calcium is an essential mineral. It contributes to the formation of eggshells, the maintenance of strong bones and muscles and well-functioning nerve functions. Vitamin D3 should also be included. This vitamin ensures that the calcium is properly absorbed into the body. In nature, birds get vitamin D3 from sunlight. But for birds that receive relatively little direct sunlight, it is important to supplement their vitamin D3 levels. A deficiency can cause the body to use the calcium from the bones for other essential functions, which can lead to osteoporosis. Finally, the magnesium in Wisbroek CalciPro Liquid stimulates the body to absorb calcium properly.
Advice for use
Wisbroek CalciPro Liquid is administered through the bird's drinking water. The dose is 1 ml per litre of drinking water.
If the quality of the eggshell is poor, Wisbroek CalciPro Liquid should be given at least 5 days in a row.
Wisbroek CalciPro Liquid can also be given preventively. It should be used for 1 week.
Important: Never give it in pure form to your bird.
