How does it work?
Diatomaceous earth consists mainly of fossilised skeletons of diatoms. They may have lived in fresh or salt water. The final product is extracted from mud. This is a dried sediment of accumulated diatoms that have not been broken down and compressed. On the one hand, the microscopic skeletons are very sharp, which damages the armour of the unwanted insects. It also absorbs fats from the wax layer of the so-called exoskeleton of the fleas and ticks, drying them out. In this way, such annoying insects can be controlled in a biological way.
Advice for use
Sprinkle Wisbroek No Parasites on places where pests occur or can occur. This can be for example in the nesting boxes, nests, cracks and seams of the aviary. Also mix it with the ground cover.
The powder can also be dissolved in water. Then it can be strewn into the spaces such as cracks and seams. Or it can be sprayed under the nests using a small syringe or bottle.
Recommended amount approximately 20 - 25 g. per m2.
Who is it suitable for?
Wisbroek No Parasites may be used in all aviaries where birds reside and where pests must be controlled. Wisbroek No Parasites can be used safely and is not harmful to birds.
