Do you want to turn your passion for birds into an exciting career? Team Wisbroek is looking for an Animal Keeper to join our team! In our Research & Development Center you will find a wealth of (rare) bird species. We strive to preserve these (endangered) species through breeding and research.
What does the job involve?
s an Animal Keeper at Wisbroek, no day is the same. Your duties include preparing food, feeding birds, cleaning both the kitchen and aviaries, garden maintenance and simple maintenance tasks inside and outside the aviaries. In addition, you are responsible for a safe and healthy environment for our birds.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a proactive, driven candidate with a passion for animal welfare and birds. You are flexible in your working hours during the breeding season. Working independently as well as in a team is no problem for you. You will end up in a dynamic and enthusiastic team. Basic knowledge of the English language is an advantage, but not a requirement. You have experience in caring for birds, with also proven experience in hand-rearing birds.
