How does it work?
Egg food can be given for various reasons. Firstly, birds do not usually get all the nutrients they need from their feed, such as seeds and insects. By giving egg food as a supplement to the feed, the bird receives extra nutrients it needs to become healthy, beautiful and strong. Therefore, give egg food once a week in any case.
Egg food can also be given in periods when the bird needs extra energy, such as before and during the breeding season. Laying eggs demands quite a lot of extra energy from the birds. The moulting period also demands extra energy from a bird when it is busy producing beautiful new feathers.
Finally, birds can use the egg food to feed their young. When there are youngsters, the parents go in search of nutritious food, such as protein-rich food. They then give the egg food to their young.
The recipe of Wisbroek BreedPower contains special building blocks such as certified blood plasma. This promotes the building up of muscle tissue. Vitamin A and natural vitamins K1 and K2 support a healthy bone matrix and optimal bone structure. In addition, they promote the growth of the embryo. Finally, the probiotic in Wisbroek BreedPower supports the resistance of the birds.

Wisbroek BreedPower is a pre-mix to enrich egg food. This can be self-prepared egg food or commercial egg food. It adds extra vitamins, minerals, amino acids and trace elements. These are nutrients that birds need, especially during times when they can use a little extra, such as the breeding season.

Wisbroek BreedPower can be added to both home-made egg food and commercial egg food. It can also be added to breeding food or to the feed for young birds. Mr. U provides the correct ratio for the use of Wisbroek BreedPower in his egg food recipes:
Self-prepared maintenance, egg, rearing food:
Add 15 grams of Wisbroek BreedPower to 1 hard-boiled egg (cooked for a maximum of 10 minutes). Mix this with 60 grams of breadcrumbs or commercial egg food.
Self-prepared breeding food or food for young birds:
Add 25 to 30 grams of Wisbroek BreedPower to 1 hard-boiled egg. Mix this with 30 grams of breadcrumbs or commercial egg food.
For enrichment of commercial egg food:
Mix 30 to 40 grams of Wisbroek BreedPower to 1,000 grams of commercial egg food and add 3 to 4 hard-boiled eggs.
